Science in Sport plc (AIM: SIS), the premium performance nutrition company serving elite athletes, sports enthusiasts, and the active lifestyle community, announces that following over nine years of service, John Clarke, Chairman of the Company, will step down from the role as Chairman and a member of the Board. He will continue in the role until the completion of the process to appoint a new Chair, with an orderly handover.
The Nominations Committee is running the new Chair selection process, which will be managed by the Board with the assistance of a global search agency and will consider the demands and requirements of the next development phase of the business in global markets.
Stephen Moon, CEO of Science in Sport, said: "On behalf of the Board and management team, I would like to thank John sincerely for his tireless dedication to Science in Sport. His unmatched knowledge of brand strategy and extensive global experience has guided the Company to its current position as a global leader in science-led endurance and performance nutrition. Notice of Annual General Meeting
The Company's Notice of Annual General Meeting has been posted to shareholders. The Company's Annual General Meeting will be held at 11.00 a.m. on Friday 28 July 2023 at the offices of Liberum Capital, Ropemaker Place, Level 12, Ropemaker Street, London EC2Y 9LY.
