Symphony International Holdings Limited announces dividend payment

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Symphony International Holdings Limited (the "Company" or "Symphony") is pleased to declare an extraordinary dividend payment of approximately US$60.3 million (taking into account the total shares oustanding at the date of this announcement), equivalent to 10.00 cents per share payable to shareholders and option holder.

The Board is declaring this dividend having considered its dividend policy in light of divestments, dividends received from investee companies and the Company's liquidity.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Board intends to pay ordinary dividends annually and extraordinary dividends as and when the Board feels it would be appropriate to do so. In particular, it is anticipated that ordinary dividends will be covered to a certain extent by dividends and interest from investee companies paid to the Company. Extraordinary dividends, will be one-off in nature and if paid in the future, will depend on various factors including but not limited to excess liquidity and divestments.

Pierangelo Bottinelli, Chairman of Symphony said: "Following the ordinary and extraordinary dividend paid earlier this year in May, this distribution will bring the total dividend paid in 2017 to approximately US$82.3 million or 13.50 cents per share. Over the past few months the Company has been able to realize a significant gain by conducting an orderly sales program of Minor International & Parkway REIT shares at attractive prices. This has made it possible for the Company to declare this extraordinary dividend. This distribution demonstrates the board's continued resolve to reward shareholders despite the disappointing share price performance of the Company's shares"
