Further to the announcement on 14 November 2012 that Stuart Mitchell would join SIG plc as Chief Executive Officer Designate on 1 December 2012 and takeover as Group Chief Executive Officer in March 2013, SIG plc confirms that Stuart Mitchell has been appointed Group Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 March 2013, succeeding Chris Davies.

Chris Davies stepped down as Group Chief Executive Officer and as a Director of the Company on 28 February 2013.
