Sanctuary Group PLC07 January 2005 7 January 2005 The Sanctuary Group plc (the "Company") Additional Listing Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London StockExchange for additional listing of 665 ordinary shares of 12.5 pence each (the"Ordinary Shares") to (i) the Official List, and (ii) trading on the LondonStock Exchange's markets for listed securities. The Ordinary Shares are beingissued pursuant to the exercise of options under the SAYE Sharesave Scheme. The Ordinary Shares will be issued credited as fully paid and will, on issue,rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary share capitalof the Company. Following the issue of these shares the Company will have341,016,313 shares in issue. It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the newOrdinary Shares on the Official List will commence on 10 January 2005.
