Publication of Prospectus

Further to the announcement made today by Severfield-Rowen PLC ("Severfield-Rowen" or the "Company") in relation to the Rights Issue to raise gross proceeds of approximately £47.9 million (approximately £44.8 million net of expenses), Severfield-Rowen announces that a combined prospectus and circular, containing details of the Rights Issue and the amended financing arrangements under its revolving credit facility, and convening a general meeting to approve certain matters related to the Rights Issue, will be posted to shareholders today.

The combined prospectus and circular will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism, where it will shortly be available for inspection at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do. In addition, the combined prospectus and circular will be available to view on the Company's website (www.sfrplc.com) and will be available for inspection at the offices of Ashurst LLP, Broadwalk House, 5 Appold Street, London EC2A 2HA.
