BOARD CHANGES

Following the Annual General Meeting held on 30 May 2008, Severfield-Rowen Plc, the market leading structural steel Group is pleased to confirm the appointment of Toby Hayward to the Board as Non Executive Chairman.  

Having qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross & Co in 1984, Toby has extensive city experience having previously been a Director of Corporate Finance at Singer & Friedlander, Henry Ansbacher & Co and Canaccord Adams.

He is currently Managing Director of the Equity Capital Markets division of Jefferies International.

There are no further details to be disclosed under Sections 9.6.13 R(1) to (6) of the UKLA Listing Rules in respect of Toby's appointment.

Commenting on the appointment Tom Haughey, Group CEO said:
