SPEEDY HIRE PLC ("SPEEDY HIRE" OR THE "COMPANY")

DIRECTOR/PDMR SHAREHOLDINGS: Notification under DTR 3.1.4R (1) (a)

Speedy Hire announces the following changes to Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR's") interests in the Company's ordinary 5p shares ("Shares").

Pursuant to invitations issued on 29 November 2010 to all eligible UK and Irish employees of Speedy Hire, options over an aggregate 4,919,588 Shares were granted on 23 December 2010 under the Company's UK and Irish SAYE Schemes (together, the "Schemes"). The Schemes are all employee schemes which give the opportunity for employees to acquire Shares at a discount of 20% of the market value of the Shares at the time the invitation is issued.

Of the total number of awards, options were granted to PDMR's as follows:

In consideration of these options, the grantee will make monthly savings contributions during the associated three year savings contract. The exercise price is £0.21 per Share.

These options will normally be exercisable during a 6 month period commencing on 1 February 2014.
