Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Speedy, the UK's leading tools, equipment and plant hire services company, operating across the construction, infrastructure and industrial markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rhian Bartlett as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 June 2019. She will also serve as a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees of the Board.

Rhian Bartlett is currently Customer and Digital Director at Screwfix Direct, a Kingfisher plc Group company, having previously held the position of Commercial Director. Prior to Screwfix Ms Bartlett was Director UK Trading at eBay, held various positions with J Sainsbury plc (including Business Unit Director and Head of On-line Merchandising) and was a Category Manager and Head of Online Marketing at Homebase.

No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules in relation to Rhian Bartlett's appointment to the Board of the Company.
