Sondex PLC28 June 2006 Sondex plc ("Sondex" or the "Group") Trading Update and Results of Annual General Meeting At Sondex's Annual General meeting held today Iain Paterson, Chairman of Sondex,made the following comments: "The last year produced excellent results for Sondex. The results reflect a stepchange through both organic growth of the original product lines and theprogress which has been made following our recent acquisitions. The current year, commencing 1 March, has started well. With market conditionsremaining favourable for the sales of Sondex equipment, both operating divisionshave delivered strong performances with a considerable increase on the sameperiod last year. Applied Electronic Systems ("AES") our most recent acquisition, which wascompleted in December 2005, has performed well with a noticeable increase insales volume. With our pleasing performance since year end, and taking in to account theinvestments we have made over the last twelve months, we are confident thatSondex will deliver the further growth anticipated by the market."
