LISTING AGREEMENT 

CLAUSE 20(a): DECLARATION OF INTERIM DIVIDEND 

FOR THE ACCOUNTING YEAR ENDING 31ST MARCH 2010.

CLAUSE 21: DECLARATION OF INTERIM DIVIDEND PAYMENT DATE

CLAUSE 16: CLOSURE OF BANK'S REGISTER OF SHAREHOLDERS

 FOR PAYMENT OF INTERIM DIVIDEND

With reference to the captioned clauses in the listing agreement with the Exchange, we advise as under:

1. In terms of Clause 20(a) of the Agreement, we advise that the Central Board of the Bank, in its meeting held on 25th January, 2010, has declared an interim dividend of Rs.10/- Per share (100%) for the accounting year ending 31.03.2010.

2. In terms of clause 16 of the agreement, it is advised that the Register of Shareholders of the Bank will be closed for transfer of shares, for payment of interim dividend for 2009-2010 from Tuesday, the 9th February 2010 to Saturday, the 13th February 2010, both days inclusive. The relevant particulars as requested are furnished in the enclosure.

3. In terms of clause 21 of the agreement, we advise that the date of payment of the above interim dividend is fixed as 11th March 2010 and the dividend warrants issued will be payable at par at all branches of State Bank of India, in India, irrespective of the amount.
