LETTER TO: BOMBAY STOCK EXCHANGE

LISTING AGREEMENT: CLAUSE 36ACQUISITION OF STATE BANK OF INDORE

In terms of Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement, we advise that the Government of India has issued the "Acquisition of State Bank of Indore Order, 2010" vide Order no. F.26/1/2009-BOA dated 28th July 2010. In terms of the said Order, the entire undertaking of State Bank of Indore shall stand transferred to and vested in the State Bank of India from the 30th day from the date of the Order, i.e. from 26th August 2010. The aforesaid Order has been issued under sub-section (2) of Section 35 of the State Bank of India Act, 1955. From: General Manager (State Bank of India)
