Trading Update

SpaceandPeople (AIM:SAL) the retail, promotional and brand experience specialist, is pleased to announce a positive pre-close trading update for the year ended 31 December 2024 ("FY24").

The Board is pleased to report that the strong sales performance achieved across the business in the first half of FY24 continued during the second half, with total unaudited revenue for FY24 being above market expectations, at approximately £6.8 million (2023: £5.8 million). All departments performed well, with UK Brand Experience and Rock Up and Pop Up (our unique end-to-end pop-up retail solution) showing particularly strong growth.

During FY24, the Group prioritised investing in additional staff, both in relation to securing the renewed Network Rail contract and to deliver further anticipated growth across the business in 2025 and beyond. This increase in staff numbers along with commission and bonuses payable in relation to achieving key revenue targets means that profitability remains in line with market expectations.

As at 31 December 2024, the Group had gross cash of £1.9 million (2023: £1.9 million) with £0.8 million of term loans (2023: £1.1 million), which is slightly better than market expectations.

The Group expects to announce its FY24 results during the week commencing 14 April 2025.
