Non-Executive Chairman Resignation and Appointment

SpaceandPeople (AIM:SAL), the retail, promotional and brand experience specialist, announces the intention of Charles Hammond to retire as Non-Executive Chairman with effect from 29 June 2018. Mr. Hammond will be succeeded as Non-Executive Chairman by George Watt who has served as a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2014.

Mr. Hammond stated "It has been a pleasure to Chair the Company for almost four years, during which we have achieved a level of growth and stability in the business, a focused strategy for the future and a strong Board and senior executive team capable of implementing it. I am delighted to announce that the Board has agreed to appoint George Watt as my successor and I wish everyone in the Company and its shareholders every success for the future".

Matthew Bending, Chief Executive Officer, said "I would like to thank Charles on behalf of the Board for his help and guidance over the last four years. He has been unrelenting in ensuring the management team focused on the core strengths of the business, and has been an excellent Chairman. We wish him well in his continuing role as CEO of Forth Ports. The fact that George Watt is replacing him allows both continuity and a fresh perspective for the Company. With huge experience in both the City and Media worlds as Chief Financial Officer of STV Group plc, George is well placed to give advice and guidance to the Board and represent shareholders' interests in the future.
