Directorate change

SpaceandPeople, (AIM:SAL) the retail, promotional and brand experience specialist, is pleased to announce that John Scott is to join the Company's board of directors (the "Board") as an independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

John has over 25 years of retail and consumer services experience, particularly in the development and operation of international customer facing businesses. He has held senior positions in high-street brands including Debenhams (2004-17) and TM Lewin (2017-20) where he was International Director, focused on global strategic growth and business development.

In June 2020, he founded and is CEO of Liminal Retail Limited, a consultancy and advisory practice working with brands, retail operators and landlords, across the UK and globally, to maximise the opportunities delivered by the current fluid and transitional time within the retail industry. John is also a Senior Industry Advisor within Tessiant, a Management Consultancy focusing on retail strategy and transformation.

John is also a member of the advisory board of consumer brands research organisation IORMA Consumer Commerce Centre, advisory committee member of the charity, The Retail Trust and the advisory committee of Mapic, the global platform for retail real estate.
