Transaction in own shares and directors' holdings
Science Group plc (AIM:SAG) announces that, on 19 July 2016, it purchased 1,000,000 of its 1 pence ordinary shares at an average price of 120 pence per share. The highest price paid per share was 120 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 120 pence. The Company purchased these shares through Numis Securities Limited.
The number of shares purchased represented 2.43% of the voting rights attributable to the total ordinary shares in issue prior to such purchase. The purchased shares will be held in treasury.
The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) following this announcement is 40,177,006. Science Group holds 1,885,029 shares in treasury.
As a result of this purchase, the following directors’ shareholdings as a percentage of the total issued share capital of the Company (excluding those shares held in treasury) have increased as follows:
