Board Appointment
The Board of Safestore, the largest self storage retailer in theΒ UKΒ andΒ Paris, is pleased to announce the appointment ofΒ Keith EdelmanΒ as Non-Executive Director.
Keith Edelman, aged 59,Β joins the Safestore Board withΒ immediate effect. He will also be a member of the Remuneration,Β Audit,Β and Nomination Committees.
MrΒ Edelman is currently Chairman of MetroracingΒ LimitedΒ and NIRAHΒ Holdings LimitedΒ and aΒ Non-ExecutiveΒ Director of Beale Plc and ArnottsΒ Limited. From 2000 to 2008,Β he was Managing Director of Arsenal HoldingsΒ PlcΒ and was responsible for the Β£435 million development and operation of Emirates Stadium and the Β£350million residential development atΒ Highbury Square. Prior to this,Β he was the Chief Executive of Storehouse Plc, Managing Director of Carlton Communications Plc and Corporate Planning Director of Ladbroke Plc.Β Mr EdelmanΒ wasΒ previouslyΒ aΒ Non-ExecutiveΒ Director of EurotunnelΒ PlcΒ andΒ Non-Executive Chairman of GlenmorangieΒ Public Limited Company.
Safestore's Chairman,Β Richard Grainger, said:Β
