Statement re discovery of further losses
Following its announcement of 11 October 2012, Safeland plc announces that it has discovered that it has been the victim of further fraudulent transactions. The losses from these further transactions, all of which occurred during the year ended 31 March 2012, amount to approximately £265,000.
The aggregate of the sums lost to the Company through fraudulent transactions now stands at approximately £1.525 million. The Company continues to attempt to recover as much of these losses as possible and it will make further announcements as appropriate.
The Company continues to trade in the usual way, despite the events disclosed in this announcement.
