Blinkx plc announces that it has today applied for block admissions in respect of: (i) the Blinkx 2007 US Plan and (ii) the Blinkx 2007 EMI Plan. Applications have been made to the London Stock Exchange for the block admission of 16,067,141 ordinary shares of Β£0.01 each in the capital of the Company ('Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to trading on AIM upon exercise of applicable share options.

The block admission consists of:

15,416,215 Ordinary Shares resulting from the exercise of options under the Blinkx 2007 US Plan;
Β
650,926 Ordinary Shares resulting from the exercise of options under the Blinkx 2007 EMI Plan;
Β
The Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.
