2020 Interim dividend

In light of the increased global macroeconomic uncertainty due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Board has taken the decision to cancel the 14.0p interim dividend which was due to be paid on 6 April 2020 to holders of ordinary shares on the register at the close of business on 6 March 2020. Whilst the Group has a strong balance sheet, the Board's priority is to conserve cash and manage the Group in a prudent manner through this period of uncertainty. The interim dividend was expected to result in a payment of £5.1m, which reflects the previously announced decision for all directors to waive their rights to this interim dividend.
