Kenya Update

Red Rock Resources plc ("Red Rock" or the "Company") announces that further to its announcement of 31 August 2011 which, among other matters, related to the institution of legal proceedings in Kenya, the Company has been notified that a favourable judgement was made in the High Court of Kenya in respect of its affialiate Mid Migori Mining Company Limited ("Mid Migori").
The judgement dated 30 July 2012 grants Mid Migori orders for certiorari (ie that the initial order has been quashed as erroneously made) and prohibition, with costs of the action awarded to Mid Migori.
Chairman Andrew Bell states: "While this judgement is welcomed, both in itself and as a testament to the good health of the legal system and the rule of law in Kenya, it is never a triumph when one finds oneself in dispute with those one wishes to work with more closely. Whilst the legal proceedings were continuing, the Company had redoubled its efforts to bring all parties into alignment. Only through partnership based on the shared objective of bringing economic progress and employment to the Migori region will we be able to succeed".
