Exercise of Put Option
London, 7 August: Pursuant to a Put Option Agreement dated 16 January 2012 between two of the founder shareholders of RusPetro, Nervent Limited ('Nervent') has acquired 8,439,833 shares from Makayla Investments Limited ('Makayla') at 134 pence per share. Following this transaction Makayla continue to hold 28,837,751 shares in RusPetro whilst Nervent has increased its shareholding to 46,479,833.
Nervent is a company 91.4% owned by Executive Director Alexander Chistyakov and 8.6% owned by Chief Financial Officer Thomas Reed.
Following this transaction, Alexander Chistyakov is the beneficial owner of 42,482,567 shares (12.7% ofRusPetro shares outstanding) and Thomas Reed is the beneficial owner of 4,145,053 shares (1.2% of RusPetro shares outstanding).
