PuriCore Plc13 September 2006 PuriCore Announces Major Supermarket Contract Awarded to Sterilox Food Safety Division MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA, and STAFFORD, UK, September 13, 2006 -- PuriCore plc("PuriCore") (London Stock Exchange: PURI), the developer of a novel, safetechnology that mimics the human body's natural anti-microbial, hypochlorousacid, announces today that its Sterilox Food Safety division has been awarded acontract from a major US supermarket chain, worth approximately $3.3 million incumulative revenue and cash flow over a three year period. This contract, whichis the second largest in PuriCore's history, represents an initial order forjust over 200 Sterilox Systems to be leased over a three year period.Installation of these Systems is expected to commence in September and to becompleted by the end of the year. With this new order, PuriCore anticipates it will have an installed base of over1,400 Sterilox Systems in US supermarkets by year end. The Sterilox System produces a food safe sanitizer from only water and commonsalt which, when converted through patented technology, provides retailers witha solution to potential cross contamination of harmful bacteria or spoilageorganisms in the produce, seafood and floral departments. The Sterilox System'sproprietary technology has been proven to substantially reduce shrink and labourcosts while improving the freshness and safety of retailers' products. TheSterilox System is fully automated and uses very little floor space, which isideal for supermarket backrooms. The sanitizer is non-toxic, food safe, FDAallowed and EPA registered.
