Alba Mineral Resources PLC15 February 2008 Alba Mineral Resources Plc ("Alba" or the "Company") Holding in Company The Company received notification from Regency Mines plc ("Regency") that it hadacquired 2,059,047 ordinary shares and 1,750,000 warrants in the Company for aconsideration of £51,991.95. Following the acquisition noted above Regency has an interest over 11,434,047ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 13.0 per cent. of theCompany's issued share capital. Furthermore as previously disclosed, Red Rock Resources plc* an affiliate ofRegency Mines plc has an interest over 2,900,000 ordinary shares in the Companyrepresenting approximately 3.3 per cent of the issued share capital. * Michael Nott, a director of Alba, is also a director of Red Rock Resources Plc.
