Regent Inns PLC17 March 2005 Regent Inns plc ("the Company") An application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London StockExchange for a block listing of 1,500,000 ordinary shares of 5p each. The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinaryshares in issue and will be allotted pursuant to the exercise of optionsunder the Company's 1996 Approved Executive Share Option Scheme The shares will not be issued immediately but as and when required in accordancewith the Scheme Rules.
