Director Change
At the Camco AGM today David Potter announced his intention to retire from his position as Chairman.
David commented "We now have a management team in place which is turning the business around; we recently reported improved performance in our advisory business and a significant deal in the US for our project development business. This coupled with a very stable carbon portfolio with innovative commercial deals announced over the last few years, leaves me now in a position to allow a new Chairman to take the business to the next stage of development".
Dr Jeff Kenna, currently Vice Chairman, will assume David's responsibilities until a successor is announced.
Jeff commented, "David has made a major contribution to Camco's development since our IPO. On behalf of all the staff at Camco we wish him well and thank him for his guidance and support."
Scott McGregor, CEO, said "Having worked with David in the last 4 years, I have valued and appreciated his leadership and guidance"
