Record PLC26 March 2008 RECORD PLC Record plc (the "Company") announces a series of transfers of ordinary shares of£0.00025 each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") by personssubject to lock-up arrangements contained in an underwriting agreement dated 28November 2007 entered into between, inter alia, the Company, JPMorgan CazenoveLimited (as Sponsor) and such persons (the "Underwriting Agreement"). Suchtransfers have been made pursuant to exemptions from the lock-up arrangementscontained in the Underwriting Agreement or, in the case of the transfer by BobNoyen to The Noyen-Melendez Family Trust Limited, pursuant to a waiver of sucharrangements given in accordance with the terms of the Underwriting Agreement.In each case, the transferee has entered into a lock-up deed dated 26 March2008, the terms of which are substantially the same as the lock-up arrangementscontained within the Underwriting Agreement. The Company announces, in accordance with LR9.6.16 that Duncan Joel Sleigh, ashareholder in the Company, has transferred by a gift for nil consideration361,000 Ordinary Shares to himself, Susan Janice Sleigh and Haydn Jan Sleigh intheir capacity as trustees of the Joel Sleigh 2008 Settlement, a family trust inrespect of which the children of Mr Sleigh are the primary beneficiaries. MrSleigh continues to hold 3,374,678 Ordinary Shares directly. The Company announces, in accordance with LR9.6.16 and DTR3.1.4R(1) that MichaelDavid Timmins, a shareholder in the Company and a director of it, has todaytransferred by a gift for nil consideration 361,000 Ordinary Shares to himselfand Richard Peter Dew in their capacity as trustees of Michael David TimminsDiscretionary Settlement 2008, a family trust in respect of which the childrenof Mr Timmins are the primary beneficiaries. The Company was notified of suchtransfer today, 26 March 2008. Mr Timmins continues to hold 9,338,880 OrdinaryShares directly. The Company announces, in accordance with LR9.6.16 and DTR3.1.4R(1) that LeslieHill, a shareholder in the Company and a director of it, has today transferredby a gift for nil consideration 2,500,000 Ordinary Shares to FINHUMF, aregistered charity appearing on the Central Register of Charities of the CharityCommission. The Company was notified of such transfer today, 26 March 2008. MsHill continues to hold 14,828,051 Ordinary Shares directly. The Company announces, in accordance with LR9.6.16 and DTR3.1.4R(1) that BobNoyen, a shareholder in the Company and a director of it, has today transferredby gifts for nil consideration 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares to FINHUMF and3,000,000 Ordinary Shares to The Noyen-Melendez Family Trust Limited, a companyestablished for charitable purposes which has applied to the Charity Commissionfor registration on the Central Register of Charities.
