Board Appointments

RIT Capital Partners plc ("RIT" or the "Company") announces the appointments of Vikas Karlekar and Cecilia McAnulty as independent non-executive directors, with immediate effect.

Vikas Karlekar

Vikas is Managing Director of Group Finance at Intermediate Capital Group PLC, a FTSE 100 Asset Manager. He is a qualified chartered accountant and previously held positions at Barclays, UBS and KPMG. He is also a Trustee and Treasurer of the Pepal Foundation, a charity focused on bringing together NGOs and global corporations to develop leaders and find practical solutions to challenging social issues.

There are no other details that require to be disclosed in respect of his appointment pursuant to Rule 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Rules.

Cecilia McAnulty

Cecilia is currently a non-executive director of Northern 2 VCT plc and Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc and she chairs the Audit Committees for both of these companies. She is a qualified chartered accountant and has held a number of senior investment roles for banks and hedge funds. Cecilia is also a member of the Industrial Development Advisory Board of the UK government's Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

There are no other details that require to be disclosed in respect of her appointment pursuant to Rule 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Rules.
