TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Trinity Mirror plc is required to notify the market of the following:

The Company's issued share capital as at 31 October 2012 consisted of 257,690,520 ordinary shares with voting rights and a nominal value of 10 pence each. The total number of voting rights in the Company is 257,690,520. Trinity Mirror plc does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury.

The above figure (257,690,520 ordinary shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
