Pre-close Trading update

Adventis Group plc ("Adventis" or the "Group"), the AIM-listed full service multimedia marketing and advertising agency announces, before entering its closed period, that trading for the half year to 30 June 2008 is in line with the Board's expectations.

On 10 June 2008 we announced the acquisition of Second2 Limited which added Technology and Telecommunications as a new specialised business sector to the Group. Being largely focused on digital media, the acquisition also represents a significant strengthening of Adventis Digital's service capabilities and Second2 will move into our Beaconsfield office on August 1 to facilitate integration within the Group. Earlier in the year we established Medical Device Communications which will become the marketing partner for medical device producers and distributors, opening up one of the fastest growing areas of the healthcare market to our integrated Adventis Health division. We have also established Adventis Integrated, a direct marketing specialist business, to work across all our specialist divisions as well as to service its own generalist clients. 

The Board looks forward to announcing interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2008 at the end of September.

These diversifications by internal reorganisation and acquisition together with prudent cost control have led to our Property businesses becoming a less significant contributor to the Group's revenue. This serves to emphasise the importance of our other areas of operation which continue to be robust."
