Notification of a Major Interest

PureCircle (LSE: PURE), the world's leading producer and marketer of high purity stevia ingredients has today been notified by one of its substantial shareholders, Wang Tak Company Limited ("Wang Tak"), that following recent purchases of PureCircle shares from the open market, their interest held in the Company has increased to 28,635,650 shares representing 17.40% of the issued share capital.

The average share price of the purchases made by Wang Tak since the last AIM notification specifically related to Wang Tak as a substantial shareholder (made on 14 November 2012) was GBP2.3876.

In additional to substantial shareholder notifications, Wang Tak's shareholding in the Company is also continuously reported due to PureCircle's Director Mr. Tan Boon Seng's relationship with Wang Tak. Details of the purchase made by Wang Tak since the last notification on their interest released on 21 November 2012 are shown below:-

Mr. Tan Boon Seng is a Non-Executive Director of the Company and also a director of Wang Tak (a company wholly owned by Lee Hing Development Limited where Mr. Tan Boon Seng is a substantial shareholder). As such, he has an indirect interest in PureCircle of 28,635,650 shares as held by Wang Tak.
