Prudential completes transaction to acquire additional interest in Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad

30 January 2026 - Further to its 22 January 2026 release, Prudential plc ("Prudential") today confirmed that the contractual requirements have been satisfied for the completion of the transaction to acquire a further 19% of Sri Han Suria Sdn. Bhd. ("SHS"), the holding company that owns Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad.

Completion has therefore now occurred for Prudential, through its wholly owned subsidiary Prudential Corporation Holdings Limited, to own a 70% aggregate stake in SHS.
