Resignation of DirectorΒ

Appointment of Chief Operating Officer
23rdΒ DecemberΒ 2009: The Board ofΒ Proteome SciencesΒ announces that Dr. Peter Schulz-Knappe will be leavingΒ Proteome SciencesΒ R&D GmbH & Co. KGΒ on 31stΒ DecemberΒ 2009Β in order to be based more closely to his family, at which point he willΒ resign as a director from the Company. The directors would like to thank Dr. Schulz-Knappe for his considerable contribution to the Company's progress and wish him every success in the future.
The CompanyΒ is pleased to announce thatΒ Dr.Β Ian Pike has been appointed Chief Operating Officer ofΒ theΒ CompanyΒ and its subsidiaries andΒ thatΒ Dr. Hans-Dieter Zucht has been appointed as Chief Technical Officer ofΒ Proteome SciencesΒ R&D GmbH Co. KG in Frankfurt. Neither of these are appointments to the board of Proteome Sciences.
