Exercise of Options

10 August 2012

The Company announces that on 9 August 2012 one employee of the Group exercised options under The Portmeirion 2002 Share Option Scheme to subscribe for a total of 2,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). The Company has transferred 2,000 shares from a number of shares held in treasury by the Company in respect of this exercise.

Following the above exercise and the exercise of a number of options under The Portmeirion 2002 Share Option Scheme as announced previously, application has been made for a total of 87,700 ordinary 5p shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to trading on AIM and admission is expected to take place on 15 August 2012. These shares were all transferred from a number of shares held in treasury by the Company.

The total number of Ordinary Shares now held by the Company in treasury is 410,518. The Company has 10,785,174 Ordinary Shares in issue and 10,374,656 Ordinary Shares with voting rights following this notification.
