Patagonia Gold Announces

Two Appointments

To Board Of Directors

Patagonia Gold Plc ("Patagonia Gold" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ed Badida and Mr Gary Sugar as independent non-executive Directors of the Company with immediate effect.

Edward J. Badida is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of financial management and corporate governance experience. He is currently Chief Financial Officer of Temex Resources Corp. and Escape Gold Inc., both listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Over the past decade Mr. Badida has also served as Chief Financial Officer and/or has been a board member of 10 other companies listed on either the TSX or the TSX-V. He has additionally held management positions at accounting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG .

Gary A. Sugar is an investment banker who retired this year as a Managing Director of RBC Capital Markets, where he worked since 1979. He specialized in the mining sector, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, initial public offerings and corporate banking relationships. Mr. Sugar brings experience across a broad range of commodities and geographic regions, particularly in the domains of corporate development, valuation and M&A transactions.

Mr Badida and Mr Sugar are directors or partners, or have been directors or partners, of the following entities during the previous five years:

Gary Anthony Sugar (aged 62)

As a result of the above appointments, the following grants of options to Directors were made:

The options are exercisable (in whole or in part) at any time up to the tenth anniversary of the date of grant and are exercisable at a price of 50.25p per Ordinary Share.

There is no further information that is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 2 (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules in relation to Mr Badida or Mr Sugar.
