("Pathfinder Minerals" or the "Company")

Director's Share Purchase

Pathfinder Minerals was informed on 4 September 2012 that, on the same day, Nicholas Trew, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, purchased 2,300,000 ordinary shares of 1 penny each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company, through his private pension scheme, at a price of 0.85 pence per Ordinary Share.

As a result of this purchase, Nicholas Trew's total interest in Pathfinder Minerals is now 92,675,753 Ordinary Shares*, equal to 8.94 per cent. of the total issued share capital.

*Includes 5,633,333 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Hornbuckle Mitchell Trustees Limited and Nicholas Trew as trustees of the Private Pension - NS Trew.
