Petards awarded contract extension to supply engineering services to the MOD

Petards, the AIM quoted developer of advanced security and surveillance systems, announces that the Ministry of Defence ("MOD") has extended its contract for the provision of engineering services in respect of electronic countermeasures equipment.

The contract extension, which is worth in the region of £0.75 million, has been extended until December 2015 and is for the provision of technical support services related to the electronic countermeasure systems fitted to various aircraft types within the MOD's fleet.

Petards Chairman Raschid Abdullah said;

"We are very pleased that the MOD has awarded this contract extension which we consider to be recognition of the high level of customer service and experience that Petards provides in supporting their requirements in this specialist field."
