Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Polar Capital Technology Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Adiba Ighodaro as an independent non-executive Director with effect from 3 December 2024.

An experienced non-executive director with a background in corporate and commercial law. Ms Ighodaro has extensive experience in global private markets from over 30 years of working in legal structuring, development finance, private equity investment and fundraising. 

Ms Ighodaro is currently an Independent non-executive director and member of the Audit and Management Engagement Committees of ICG Enterprise Trust Plc, an Independent non-executive director, chair of the Credit Committee and member of the Risk Committee and the Nomination, Governance & Remuneration Committee of Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Ltd. She is also a non-executive director of M-Kopa Holdings Ltd.

A resolution proposing the election of Ms Ighodaro as Non-executive Director will be put to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting to be held in or around September 2025.

At the date of announcement, Ms Ighodaro holds 167 shares in Polar Capital Technology Trust plc. There is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 6.4.8 of the Listing Rules.
