Regulatory Announcement Company Pan African Resources plc TIDM PAF Headline Additional Listing on AIM and the JSE Pan African Resources PLC (`Pan African' or the `Company')

(Incorporated and registered in England and Wales under Companies Act 1985 with

registered number 3937466 on 25 February 2000) Share code on AIM: PAF Share code on JSE: PAN ISIN: GB0004300496 Additional Listing on AIM and JSE

Application has been made for the admission of 722,724 shares in Pan African to trade on AIM and on the Alternative Exchange of the JSE Limited. The shares have been issued in terms of the Novation Agreement between Pan African and Goldiam SARL dated 10 April 2006. It is expected that dealings in these new shares will commence on Monday, 21 July 2008.

Following the issue of these shares, Pan African will have a total of 1,100,589,162 common shares issued.
