Oxus Gold PLC06 October 2005 news release For immediate release: 6 October 2005 Oxus Gold plc Holding in Company Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") has been notified pursuant to theprovisions of the Companies Act 1985 in a letter dated 4 October 2005 that RABCapital plc, acting as investment manager, has decreased its shareholding by7,474,000 and now hold 52,671,059 ordinary shares representing 18.31 per cent ofthe ordinary issued share capital of the Company. RAB Capital does not act ascustodian for its clients and therefore the shares are held in the nominee nameof the custodian of our clients, which is CSFB Nominees Ltd and Morgan Stanley &Co International Ltd. Oxus was also notified pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 in aletter dated 5 October 2005 that Fidelity International Ltd and its direct andindirect subsidiaries, being non-beneficial holders, have increased itsshareholding by 8,613,052 and now hold 37,314,786 ordinary shares representing12.97 per cent of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
