OMG PLC10 May 2007 10 May 2007 OMG plc Contract Wins Two contract wins and a contract extension for Geospatial Vision OMG plc, Oxford Metrics Group (LSE: OMG), ("OMG" or "the Group") the technologygroup providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence,life science and engineering industries, is pleased to announce the signing oftwo contracts within its Geospatial Vision division. Geospatial Vision was established as part of OMG's strategy of expansion throughleveraging existing technology in new vertical markets and focuses onstreet-level geospatial imagery, providing new technologies for the managementand maintenance of key national infrastructures. The asset survey agreements are with Oxfordshire County Council and Atkins, thelargest multidisciplinary consultancy in Europe, which designs and enables thedelivery of complex capital programmes for clients in the public and privatesectors across the globe. Under these agreements, OMG will be using its vehicleto complete in-depth highway surveys, which will involve capturing street-levelvideo and automatically extracting asset data relating to road markings andsigns. The Group also announces a second order from one of its existing local authoritycustomers, Cumbria County Council.
