Yotta MVS signs $3.3m US contract
OMG plc, Oxford Metrics Group (LSE: OMG), the technology group providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence, life science and engineering industries, is pleased to announce that Yotta MVS, its US data collection services business, has been awarded a significant contract by an American local government entity.
Yotta MVS, aΒ leadingΒ USΒ provider of data collection services for the assessment of property taxation, has been selected byΒ Miami-Dade County,Β FloridaΒ to carry out a physical inspection of all properties in the County area.Β This inspection will see Yotta MVS capture and provide images of over 550,000 parcels in the County for use in assessing property taxation applicable to each building and land parcel.Β
The contract will run for five years withΒ Miami-DadeΒ CountyΒ and is expected to be worth approximately US$3.3m to Yotta MVS.
Announcing the contract award Nick Bolton, Chief Executive Officer of OMG plc, said:
