Orad Hi-Tec Systems28 July 2005 Orad wins order for two multi channel virtual sets from Portugal's Sic TV Orad Hi-Tec Systems (Symbol: OHT), announced today that Sic TV, the largestprivate TV station in Portugal, has purchased two multi channel virtual sets. Under the agreement, Orad will provide Sic TV with two of its SmartSet virtualset systems. SIC TV will utilise the SmartSet system for various types ofproductions such as news, magazines and entertainment. The SmartSet systems are based on Orad's pattern recognition tracking solutionalong with mechanical sensors. This unique combination offers Sic TV theability to re-locate the camera's position as well as providing systemredundancy. Empowered by Orad's DVG rendering platform, SmartSet is equippedwith multi channel capabilities which allow the director to preview each of thecameras and dissolve between them.
