Orad Hi-Tec Systems07 July 2005 EADS Deutschland and ORAD Agree Partnership in Image Generator Solutions forTraining and Flight Simulation Kfar Saba, Israel - 7th July, 2005 - Orad Hi-Tec Systems Limited (Symbol: OHT),world leader in graphics visualisation, virtual sets, on-air graphics and sportsproduction tools today announces a strategic agreement with leading aircraftmanufacturer and simulation supplier EADS. Under the agreement, EADS Deutschland GmbH a leading simulation provider andOrad Deutschland GmbH will work together over the next 3 years in the supportand supply of high end image generator solutions for training and for flightsimulation. The partners will exchange their technology plans and shareresources in key demonstrations, focusing on the military and civilian aircraftindustries. As a first step EADS simulation acquired its first Orad scalable graphicscluster for the German Air Force's service and support centre in ManchingGermany for the Euro Fighter programme. Using a unique technology of video compositing housed on theDVG VRX card, PC clusters can be designed with any number of graphic cardsworking in parallel to compute an infinite number of polygons and mapped pixels.The solution offers strong future-proofing, as individual components can beupgraded as soon as they become available on the market. In addition the VR-X Cluster Manager offers an easy to use GUI which allowsusers to re-configure the number of nodes per channel.
