Orad Hi-Tec Systems08 March 2006 Orad Hi-Tec Systems Limited ("Orad" or the "Company") Orad Hi-Tec Systems Limited (Symbol: OHT) has today announced an agreement withChina's national broadcaster, China Central Television ("CCTV"), worth severalhundred thousand US dollars. This agreement will allow CCTV to enhance theirexisting sports programming capability in preparation for the 2008 OlympicGames. Following the successful implementation of Orad's Sports systems by CCTV Sportsduring the October 2005 Chinese National Games in Nanjing, CCTV has decided toadopt Orad's sport graphic technology in order to enhance its TV sportsproduction capability by using more sophisticated visual tools. The agreementwith CCTV includes: - Orad's high end High-Definition/Standard-Definition (HD/SD) HDVG real-time video graphics computer; - CyberSport Graphic system that includes Orad's Emmy award CyberSport software, which provides real time graphics enhancements to a variety of sports areas; and - Orad's sports Cyber Graphic module, with several enhancements packages for soccer, tennis, swimming, athletics and others. The system will be utilised by CCTV for all the sports events and will be fullyintegrated with CCTV's studio working on HD/SD systems. The first live use ofthe system is planned for the FINA Swimming Championship, which will be heldduring April 2006, in Shanghai, China. Avi Sharir, President and CEO of Orad, believes that the contract with CCTV, oneof the worlds biggest broadcasters, represents another breakthrough for theCompany's sports graphics solution. With this order CCTV joinsOrad's other Sports customers such as Canal+ in France, Televisa in Mexico andthe Dutch Football League, strengthening Orad's position as a provider ofcomplete sports graphics solutions. We expect our sports graphics systems to bewidely seen in the future in China, which will make it the standard for sportsprogramming broadcasters in the region" concluded Mr. Sharir.
