Orad Hi-Tec Systems20 March 2006 Orad Hi-Tec Systems Limited ("Orad") TV Globo Selects Maestro as its graphics solution for its news operation Orad Hi-Tec Systems (Symbol: OHT), announces today new agreements amounting toseveral hundred thousand US Dollars with TV Globo of Brazil, to provide Orad'sMaestro real-time 3D graphics system to TV Globo's As part of the agreement, Orad will supply to TV Globo's main studios, at SaoPaulo and Rio de Janeiro, multiple Maestro stations coupled with Orad's Newsproducer plug-ins, that will interface with Avid's iNews newsroom system. TheMaestro News producer plug-in allows journalists, editors and operators toattach real time graphic elements to their articles, while working on the AvidiNews environment. Additionally, Orad will revamp TV Globo's graphics creation,by delivering its latest version of 3Designer, Orad's award-winning authoringsoftware, as well as dedicated plug-ins such as text effects and line graphs.Furthermore, in order to enhance its production facilities in San Paulo, TVGlobo has purchased Orad's virtual studio, which is based on its state of theart Xync infra red tracking technology. The Maestro systems will be installed at TV Globo's main studio in Sao Paulo.Additionally, three Maestro systems will be installed at TV Globo's affiliatestations in Brasilia, Recife and Belo Horizonte.
