Oao Gazprom21 February 2007 PRESS-RELEASE 21 February 2007 Moscow GAZPROM PLACED RUBLE BONDS OF A9 SERIES FOR THE AMOUNT OF RUR 5 BILLION Today OAO "Gazprom" placed ruble bonds of A9 series. The bonds are issuedfor the amount of RUR 5 billion, nominal value - RUR 1000, with 7 years maturity. The coupon yield payable every 182nd day for A9 series was set at 7.23% as aresult of contest at the Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange. Investors placed bids forthe total sum of over RUR 9 billion. The bond issue was arranged by Renaissance Capital Investment Group and OAO"Rosbank". Horizon Investment Company served as co-arranger and OAO "Federal FundCorporation" acted as the financial consultant of the bonds issue. The funds raised are intended to finance capital expenditures, implement newpromising projects of Gazprom, re-finance company's debt, as well as to optimize thecorporate debt portfolio structure. Reference: Gazprom first placed its A1 RUR 3 bln bonds in July 1999, with the secondplacement of the A2 RUR 5 bln bonds taking place in November 2002. On February 3,2004, Gazprom placed the A3 RUR 10 bln bonds. In October 2004, the Company placedthe A5 RUR 5 bln bonds. The issue of A4 and A6 bonds, each worth RUR 5 bln, tookplace in February and August 2005, respectively. On September 28, 2006, the Federal Financial Markets Service registered rublebonds issues of A7, A8 and A9 series for the amount of RUR 5 billion each series, with 3,5 and 7 years maturities, respectively. The issue of A7 and A8 bonds, each with 3 and 5years maturities, respectively, took place on November 2, 2006.
