Nichols PLC14 September 2007 On 19 March 2007, the Board of Nichols plc announced that it was in preliminarydiscussions regarding the possibility of an offer for the entire issued and tobe issued share capital of Nichols plc. Today, the Board announces thatdiscussions in relation to the offer have been terminated. For the purposes ofthe Takeover Code this means that Nichols plc is no longer in an offer period.
