Exercise of Share Options, PDMR Dealing and Transaction in Own Shares
Nichols announces that it was notified on 8 August 2016 that on the same day, Marnie Millard, Group Chief Executive Officer, exercised share options over 17,561 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), granted in 2013 under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan, for a total cost of £1. The share options became exercisable on 31 July 2016 following satisfaction of a number of performance conditions relating to the Company's profit before tax. To satisfy the exercise of the share options, 17,561 existing Ordinary Shares were transferred from treasury. Following this announcement, the Company now holds 85,039 Ordinary Shares in treasury.
On 8 August 2016, Marnie Millard sold 8,254 Ordinary Shares to settle the associated tax liability, as a result of the exercise of options, at 1,400 pence per Ordinary Share.
Following the exercise of share options and the subsequent sale of Ordinary Shares, Marnie Millard's notifiable interest in the Company is 9,307 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.03% of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares.
