Nature Group (AIM:NGR) the provider of port reception facilities and waste treatment solutions for the oil, marine and process industries, today announces the resignation of Bernard Muller as executive chairman and board director and the consequent appointment of Nigel Sandy.

Bernard Muller has been on the Board on Nature Group since the acquisition of International Slop Disposal (I.S.D) B.V. in December 2010 and has been executive chairman of the Group since September 2011. Nigel Sandy, who has been on the Board since February 2007 and the deputy chairman since September 2011, will take on the role of non-executive chairman with immediate effect. Nigel has extensive experience having held senior roles within the waste management industry since 1990.

Commenting, Andreas Drenthen, Chief Executive of Nature Group said:

I look forward to continuing to develop Nature Group, in association with Nigel, as a leader in environmental solutions to the maritime and oil & gas industry."

Nigel Sandy added:

"On behalf of the board I would like to thank Bernard for all he has done to integrate ISD into Nature Group and for the vital role he played in developing our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) standards. Bernard has made a very positive contribution to the Group and I am sorry to see him leave and we all wish him the very best for the future"

The Board believes the Company has a strong management team to take advantage of its current range of opportunities. It is negotiating a number of new business contracts and will issue a trading update prior to the year end.
