STATEMENT IN RELATION TO POSSIBLE OFFER
Further to the announcement of 9 October 2008, the Board of Newcourt announces that it has been informed by Ted O'Neill, Phil Sykes and Hugh O'Neill that, as a consequence of the uncertainty currently prevailing in international capital markets, it has not been possible to secure the necessary finance to make an offer for the Company, on satisfactory terms.
The Board of Newcourt will continue to evaluate a range of strategic options and will make further announcements as, and when, appropriate.
